As once the oldest Chevrolet dealership in the Lehigh Valley, we are announcing our new name: Strohl Automotive Services. We've left Chevrolet but we haven't left you! Same Location, Same Expertise, Same Quality! Strohl has its roots in humble, turn of the century beginnings. Stanley A. Strohl was one of six children. Working originally as a farmhand, he was later hired by General Harry Trexler to work on his Fogelsville farms. General Trexler then transferred Stanley to the Fogelsville plant of Lehigh Portland Cement Co. where he became a steam engineer. Stanley's wife, Pearl, was proprietor of a millinery shop in Fogelsville. On the property stood a small building. Here, Stanley began selling and repairing bicycles, selling parts, tires, supplies, and doing some auto repairs. In 1921, the Cedar Bluff Garage in Allentown, and its Chevrolet franchise was up for grabs and Stanley A Strohl Chevrolet was born! With the increase in demand for automotive services over the years, Stanley's sons Kenneth, Marvin and Roderick needed to contribute to the business at a young age. Eventually, Kenneth and Roderick took over the business when their father retired. Today, the third Generation, Kenneth's two sons, Douglas and Ted own and manage the dealership. Business manager, Jon Strohl represents the 4th generation to work in the business. As always, management places a high priority on continuing technical education and understand that this is an absolute necessity. And now as an Independent Pre-Owned Sales Dealership, Independent ACDelco Service Center, Tirestarz Bridgestone/Firestone Dealer, and AAA Approved Auto Repair Center, we promise to continue this tradition.
Although we no longer perform Chevrolet warranty repairs for the manufacturer, the service team at Strohl continues to offer all of the services that meet your automotive needs. As an Independent Service Center we have been able to lower our labor rates while still providing the same high quality parts and technical expertise for your repair.
